The Development Situation Of Red Jujube Industry In Shanxi Province And Its Problems

Red jujube is a unique economic tree species in China. Red jujube industry, as a sunrise industry, the national industry, has huge development potential, and has a broad prospect of export. Shanxi Province has a long history of jujube cultivation, the red jujube processing industry has achieved many outstanding achievements, but there are still some hidden troubles in its development process, as follows:(1) jujube varieties:the varieties structure is unbalanced, its quality aging, blindness introduction, lack of necessary modification, cultivation management lapses, and serious seedling; (2) planting areas:seedling quality is uneven, planting way is backward, frequent dehiscent fruit, pruning technology is not up to standard; (3) production and processing:the peasants pay more attention on planting than management, and fresh jujube storage technology is relative lag, product deep processing insufficient, the product level is not high; (4) service system:science and technology service system is not sound, jujube industrialization organization and the interests of the most important relationship is not up to the standard; (5) the industry chain is lack of developing to the international market and the added value of the product is low, the asymmetry information causes the chain inefficiency. The article proposes that:(1) red jujube cultivation:the industry should improve varieties of jujube, based on outstanding varieties, and cultivate the crack resistance of new varieties; (2) planting technology and management:the enterprises should introduce greenhouse technology to develop counter-season product; (3) production and processing:the industry should continue to improve the varieties, promoting the storage and preservation technology to carry out the comprehensive utilization of red jujube, and explore the further development products; (4) service system:we should establish and improve the service system of science and technology at all levels, and the government should strengthen the macro guidance of red jujube industry development and comprehensive services; (5) industry chain development:we should carry out economic cooperation "leading enterprises+peasant household" mode of industrial development, the promotion of "scientific research institutions and enterprises" product research and development innovation mechanism, incentive mechanism of investment, to encourage and support red jujube processing enterprises to extend and expand the research and development of the red jujube industry chain, at the same time, make good use of advanced processing equipment and processing technology, and realize automation, scale and standardized production, the depth of mining jujube nutritional value, innovation, red jujube processing products, in better serve the needs of different consumer groups of independent, on the basis of leading the consumer demand for red jujube caused, leading to the whole red jujube industry in Shanxi Province take a health, rapid and efficient development pace.
