Application And Analysis Of The Traceability System Of Vegetables Agro-products In Urumqi

With the development of economy and society, the demand of quality safety of agro-products (QSAP) is becoming more and more urgent. Establishing and applying the traceability system of vegetables agro-products (TSVAP) is one of the most effective ways to supervise and guarantee QSAP. By searching, collecting and synthesizing the related information of building and running TSVAP, we found that this system could satisfy the demand of QSAP in Urumchi from 2004 to 2014 without national uniform standards. The retroactive methods and measurements which were guided by confirming the retroactive owner played a limited role of traceability. Recently, many necessary measures of TSVAP have been carried out with remarkable success, such as the establishing the three-tier network of QSAP testing centers or stations at city and county levels, implementing the origin access at production base, implementing the market access at circulation links, applying the test certificates of ago-production, building electronic information platform, case surveying in traceability of agro-products, and correcting the mistakes in the work. Moreover, the agricultural standardization, informatization and systematize of QSAP in Urumchi have been re-integrated by this system as well. From the implementation effect, QSAP in this city has been improved obviously. Although the inputs of forbidden pesticide have been decreased, the applications of pesticide had lower standardization. There were also some shortages of standardization and innovation of TSVAP in Urumchi, so it placed in an entry-level stage. The results of this paper could provide the detail data and systematic theory for developing TSVAP in the less developed areas in Central and Western China.
