In the context of knowledge economy and economic globalization, the competitiveness between enterprises is the talent competition. As a new industry, the beauty industry is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing industries. In the process of building the workforce of beauty enterprises, how to build the team of store managers is a top priority. However, domestic scholars have done little research to solve the store manager management issues of chain beauty enterprises.This paper constructed store manager competency model of beauty enterprises and did the current chain beauty enterprises store manager training and development research and made a series of options based on research results of the store manager management issues based on the competency model.Integrated use of theoretical and empirical research methods, this paper studied the store manager training and development management issues of beauty enterprises based on the store manager competency model.First of all, this paper reviewed theories about the competency model development and construction by the theoretical research method. In empirical research, this paper make JFD chain beauty enterprise as the study object. Firstly, this paper redesigned the performance evaluation criteria and determined the performance of the index weight. By using the BEI method, a competency model and related evaluation criteria which is in line with current fact of beauty enterprises is made. Secondly, this article analyzed the current situation of human resource management and store manager training and development management of JFD beauty chain enterprise by the empirical research method. A lot of measures of store manager training and developing based on the competency model are taken, such as designing managers’selection management process, comprehensive training management and comprehensive developing model. Eventually, the store manager training and development management level is effectively enhanced.
