The Competitiveness Research Of Logistics Industry Of Gansu Province

As an important component of modern service industry in the national economy,logistics industry involves the whole parts of production, circulation and consumption.The competitiveness level of the logistics industry now increasingly becomes an important symbol to measure the modernization level and comprehensive strength of a country or region. Regional logistics competitiveness to a large extent reflects the regional logistics development level. It has great significance to the healthy and stable development for measuring a regional logistics development scale and development situation and grasping the level of regional logistics industry development and its future development trend through the research of regional logistics competitiveness.Belonging to economic less-developed areas, Gansu is affected by geographical conditions which leads to the slow development of logistics industry. Problems of inadequate logistics infrastructure, uneven development of regional logistics, low information technology level and logistics efficiency, lack of logistics professionals,unwell market environment are still existed. Logistics market environment remains to be improved. All these problems seriously restrict the development of logistics industry in Gansu Province. It will become one of the bottleneck of the economic revitalization of the development in Gansu Province if the logistics industry has been stagnant. So finding out the real problems of the logistics industry development.analyzing the causes, finding out the key factors which influence logistics industry competitiveness, taking the corresponding strategic measures to comprehensively promote the development of logistics industry, pulling the entire national economy development in Gansu Province,are problems to be solved.This paper first introduces the development of modern logistics industry competitiveness at home and abroad research status from looking for experiences and references in the competitiveness of domestic and foreign research literature.Secondly, this paper introduces the concepts of logistics and logistics industry and puts forward theoretical basis. Again, it analyzes the basic situation of the logistics industry development of Gansu Province from the current situation of geographical environment, transportation, construction situation, logistics enterprise presentsituation. Finally, it finds out the current problems in the process of the development of the logistics industry in Gansu Province. In the empirical part, it uses the way of the factor analysis to analyze regional logistics competitiveness of Gansu Province objectively. It analyzes the regional logistics competitiveness rankings from the three aspects of the environment competitiveness of logistics industry. real competitiveness of logistics industry, potential competitiveness of logistics industry and finds out the key influence factors. According to the empirical results, this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of logistics industry of Gansu Province, in order to provide theory reference and basis for the revitalization of logistics industry in Gansu Province.
