Comprehensive Evaluation On The Quality Of Economic Development In Hunan Province

With the proceeding of Reform and Opening-up and the rapid development of the economic construction. Our country have a new understanding to the law of economic development. In the past, our country put the blindly emphasis on economic growth, leading to large consumption of resources, the environment has been deeply destroyed. Changing the mode of economic development has become the urgent matter. Therefore, put forward the concept of economic development has become a consensus. The concept of economic development compared to the concept of economic growth, means not only emphasis on the expansion of the economic scale, but also put more attention to the changes of economic basic structure. In the process of economic development, not only to improve the quality of people’s living standard and the development of Science Education and Culture and Health Undertaking, but also involves the maintaining of social and ecological balance,effectively utilizing resources,environmental pollution treatment and so on. We will start from the connotation of the quality of economic development, On the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign related research, to define the quality of economic development.We build the evaluation index system from five angles─effectiveness, coordination, innovation, sustainability and welfare to comprehensively reflect the quality of economic development in Hunan, analyzes the quality of economic development in Hunan and the status quo. And we chose the entropy method to comprehensively evaluate the quality of economic development in Hunan, and then give the measure to improve the quality of economic development in Hunan.The text was divided into the following five parts:The first part, the introduction. This part mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic, research content and research methods and the innovation etc..The second part, the related theoretical connotations and evaluation index system, and On the basis of those connotations and the basic principles of evaluation index system,to analyse and build the evaluation index system accord with the status quo of the economic development of Hunan Province.The third part, the status quo of the economic development in Hunan. This part demonstrates the status quo of the economic development in Hunan from two aspects─the current level of economic development in Hunan and the current quality of economic development in Hunan. This part analyze the quality of economic development in Hunan from five evaluation index systems─effectiveness, coordination, innovation, sustainability and welfare.The fourth part, the comprehensive evaluation of the quality of economic development in Hunan. Through the analysis of the quality of economic development in Hunan, chose the entropy method to give the weight of each index, and make a comprehensive evaluation from five aspects─effectiveness, coordination, innovation, sustainability and welfare.The fifth part, conclusion and suggestion. By using entropy method to find the problems in the quality of economic development in Hunan, and puts forward some problems in the quality of economic development in Hunan,gives some measures to solve those problems, improve the quality of economic development in Hunan.
