In the Knowledge Economy era, more and more enterprises are aware that their employees are their most important resource to gain the competitive advantage. For the Manufacturing Enterprises, The frontline staff is the main constituent part of the company, their technical skill and capability determined the company’s capability. The Chinese economy’s improvement has reduced the advantage which made China to be the world factory. The manufacturing industry of China is moving from labor intensive mode to technology intensive mode. The demographic dividend is crashing. The manufacturing companies in China are facing chllenges from lacking technical labors and labor cost masive increasing. More and more companies are aware that the technical training is an effective solution to these challenges. They have started to build their technical training system or improve current training system.A company is a factory in the semi-conduct industry. The coporation whom the A company blongs to is from the US, and is a leading company in this industry. It is also facing a drastic competition and the pressure from the cost reduction. The improvement of capability of the frontline workers is a key factor to help to the company to win the competition. This dissertation focuses on the problem of effectiness and efficiency of the front-line workers’ technical training. Analyze the problem of current training system and the route cause behind with the training theory, learning organization theory and LEAN theory. Based on the theories, this dissertation provides the improvement proposal.This dissertation us adopts the normatic research and the empirical research mode. It firstly states the training theory, organizational behavior, learning organization and LEAN theory, and focuses on the training process and training sytem introduction to establish a foundation of the theory frame of this dissertation. Then this dissertation analyzes the problem of current frontline workers’ technical training system and the route cause behind with both normatic research and empirical research. Then this disseratation provides the improvement proposal including the supporting measures. Finally the dissertation summarizes conclusion and proposed the future research direction.The merging and applying of multi-theories, which relate to training, organizational behavior, learning organization and LEAN theory appears original.
