Retail format is retail enterprise management organization form, whose manifestation likes supermarkets, department stores. convenience stores, it determines the customer group positioning, and management of retail enterprise direction, commodities organization, property presentation elements, is a key factor in retail enterprise survival, competition and development.With economic development and changes in the consumption environment. the contradiction between the development of China’s retail industry forms and change of consumer demand has becoming increasingly prominent, the traditional domestic retail enterprises are facing the task of development and change of format, the previous retail development theory has been unable to effectively guide the practical application, the development strategy of systematic study and analysis on domestic industry of traditional retail business is very necessary.
