Research On Human Resource Management Of SECC Company ABC Engineering Supervision Project

The ABC hydropower station is located in the western of Conakry which is the capital of The republic of Guinea in west Africa. By the government of The republic of Guinea’s entrusting, a Chinese well-known International general contracting enterprise was angling to build the station with the "Engineering-Procurement-Construction" contract model.The SECC company was supervising the project’s quality, progress, safety and civilized during the construction process within the scope of authorization by the contract.The ABC supervise project was the first foreign project when SECC put forward to expand overseas markets, so The ABC supervise project need to implement the management goal such as displaying management strength fully, improving the general contractor’s satisfaction continuously, cultivating a group of people who were having international projects management experiences.At the beginning of the project, the team members fallen into a passive situation which was they didn’t know what course to take because of the different environment and different management model. This was fully exposing the SECC company’s project management system, project management experiences and comprehensive quality is extremely meet the need of the project. The full realization of the goal of project management can’t complete without efficient project team. The urgent task of the project management is to fully motivate team members’ potential, improve the quality of the team members comprehensive, change the passive situation rapidly.In this thesis, the theory of project management combined with the practical management of the ABC engineering supervise project. During the process, methods such as literature analysis, investigation-study and sum up were by using to research the human resource management.Firstly, in this thesis, the topic background, research contents, research significance and the train of thought were introduced.Secondly, project management, project human resource management, incentive, performance management, and other related contents were commented by consulting lots of theory and application research literature related to the project of human resource management.Thirdly, SECC company and the ABC supervise project were expounded.Fourthly, the ABC supervise project staff incentive mechanism from four dimensions include the demand of staff security, target guidance, behavior constraints, performance management was built. And the employee performance management scheme was designed specially.Finally, the incentive mechanism was improving continuously in practice, and my own opinions and suggestions were put forward.This thesis aims to use project management theory to guide the ABC supervise project management practice, to promoting the comprehensive implementation of the project. At the same time, to provide reference for SECC company’s follow-up foreign projects, and to provide some ideas in human resource management of the similar supervise projects.
