As a traditional state-owned enterprise, SAGW has mature experience in the field of passenger car market while occupying a considerable market share. In order to achieve the market entry strategy of industrial diversification, SAIC makes a strategic decision to lead SAGW to carry out internal business on its past basis. In 2010, SAGW decides to set up commercial vehicle division to achieve its internal business entry strategy by the basis of division. However, it has received some deviation from the related goals by the end of 2013.In the paper, taking internal business of SAGW as the research object, internal business strategy profile is analyzed from a strategic management perspective. The cause of problems is diagnosed by using score sheet, organizational analysis, work analysis and other methods. And recommendations are provided eventually.Firstly, general enterprise situation, internal business background and implementation situation about SAGW are described in this paper. Taking the above introduction as a basis for diagnosis, various problems in the promoting process of internal business are combed and classified while important issues are identified. Secondly, the problem inducements are diagnosed and analyzed. Related strategies profiles of internal business are analyzed. And compared diagnoses are provided for the requirements of internal business principle and multi-division system good running. Moreover, the mismatching between strategy making and strategic requirements is excavated, and errors in the process of strategy execution are found. Finally, diagnosis conclusions and execution recommendations are proposed. The recommendations include general requirements aiming at diversity and strategies profiles with different-preference precondition.
