In recent years, with the energetic support of the state policies and the improvement of the attention to logistics, logistics industry competition has intensified, especially some logistics enterprises that have less resources, small scale and low ability level are hard to survive in market. At the same time, the deepening of the supply chain management concept, more and more scholars and enterprise managers realize that supply chain management is not restricted to traditional tangible goods, intangible service also applies to supply chain management and companies would be likely to benefit from it. So the Logistics Service Supply Chain (Logistics Service Supply Chain, the LSSC) was appeared. It is separated from the Service Supply Chain, which is dominated by logistics service integrators and unites upstream functional service providers and downstream logistics demand-side. LSSC is a method of joint management for the intangible logistics service. Although the logistics service supply chain coordinates the intangible service, it still carries on the tangible goods. The research of the logistics service supply chain helps to solve the current domestic logistics’ problems such as decentralized enterprises, require more logistics resources but lower utilization rate, lower logistics operation level and logistics capability. The effective implementation of LSSC depends on the coordination and cooperation among enterprises and the implementation of a variety of mechanism. Therefore, the collaborative management of LSSC is the main direction of present logistics service supply chain research.The article integrates a series of basic concepts of logistics service supply chain and the research status which is based on a large number of logistics service supply chain literatures at home and abroad, and finds that a great deal of research about LSSC are concentrated in the home, which may be related to domestic logistics industry in its infancy, and the main research direction are basic concepts, the structure model, coordination and performance evaluation in logistics service supply chain and lacks the empirical research of supply chain logistics service coordination from the overall perspective. Therefore, this paper demonstrates the necessity of LSSC implementation and management mode from two aspects of core competence theory and collaborative theory firstly. Secondly, take M company car logistics services as the research object, it analyzes the various problems in M company’s actual LSSC operation and proposes the suitable LSSC collaborative management system and related optimization suggestions for improvement according to the previous theory analysis for M company.This article elaborates the implementation of the LSSC with the innovative theory and makes an empirical analysis of the logistics activity practice of M company from the relationships among the logistics service integrators, functional logistics service providers and logistics demand-side. Article tries to solve all kinds of problems of actual logistics operation through combining theoretical research and empirical analysis. It would provide basis for the third party logistics enterprises and also contribute to the in-depth research of the logistics service supply chain theory.
