A Research To Innovation Strategy Of China’s New Coal Chemical Industry Technology

As the largest country in the world both in consumption and production in coal, China’s using coal as its main source of energy will still maintain a long period of time, the energy structure must still dominated by coal. At the same time, the growing dependence on oil also requires China substitute the oil needs for coal resources. From the author’s standpoint, the key to solve the haze problem is to reduce the direct combustion of coal at a maximum level given assurance of energy supply, and to reform the inefficient coal conversion process; and a practical resolution to carry out China’s coal industry industrial upgrade, improving coal utilization efficiency, reducing the amount of carbon emissions and ensuring energy security is to implement clean utilization of coal. Paths of technological innovation and selections of technological innovation strategy is of great importance to utilization of clean coal and industrial upgrade, and new coal chemical is such an important way. Therefore, the research of technological innovation strategy of new coal chemical is of significant meaning to China’s carrying out sustainable development and ecological civilization construction, and is the only way out to transform the energy situation in China from disadvantage into advantage, from high carbon to low-carbon.
