With the progress of science and technology, people’s living standards have been improving, the public demand is fast changing, enterprise business environment is changing, and market competition is increasingly fierce. Enterprises who want to survive under the rapidly changing environment and fierce competition must transform according to demand and optimize and reconstruct various business processes of the enterprises through the continuous adjustment of information technology, thereby achieving effective and orderly management and high degree of flexibility.Business Process Management (BPM) can provide a unified business process modeling, process execution and process monitoring platform for all kinds of business processes in and among enterprises. Meanwhile, Business Process Improvement (BPI) is built on the basis of analyzing business processes, wherein cloud computing, process reengineering and process improvement are comprehensively combined; by sorting, perfecting and optimizing the current workflow, efficiency of the enterprise is improved, the overall operating cost of the enterprise is reduced, and competitive advantages of the enterprise are well kept to reach a satisfactory level.The paper introduces the necessity of business process optimization under the cloud environment to build an enterprise business process management system, and simplex algorithm is introduced into genetic algorithm to generate a new business process optimization scheme. Specific content is as follows:(1) Describe the development present situation and development trend of the business processes at home and abroad, analyze problems faced by the current enterprise business process under the new competition and market structure and enterprise business development demands, and put forward the necessity of enterprise business process optimization based on the analysis of the existing business process;(2) Introduce the rise, new characteristics and tendency of cloud computing;(3) Analyze the problems faced by the current enterprise business process under the new competition and market structure and enterprise business development demands, put forward the business process management system based on the analysis of the existing business process of the enterprise;(4) In terms of the existing business process bottlenecks of the enterprise, take the basic thinking pattern of BPM into consideration, and improve the business process by comprehensively adopting process reconstruction and process optimization to optimize the whole business process. Specific means is as follows:taking a manufacturing enterprise as a typical research object, analyze the current situation of the business process of the enterprise, introduce the simplex algorithm into the genetic algorithm, put forward the new business process optimization scheme, and contrast the business process before optimization and the business process after optimization to analyze the effect of the optimized business process of the enterprise.The significance of this paper lies in:(1) having put forward a new business process model and enriched the related research in the field of business process optimization; (2) having optimized the enterprise business process, reduced the enterprise operating cost and improved the enterprise’s service quality and efficiency, thereby being capable of maintaining current enterprise customer resources and having an important significance on improving the overall competitiveness of the enterprise; (3) having certain reference value for business process research.
