The development of socialism with Chinese characteristics means gradually moving towards common prosperity step by step, mentioned by Deng Xiaoping. And 18 th National Congress of our party also specifically mentioned that, we must adhere to the road of common prosperity. While we are adjusting the pattern of national income distribution, solving the problem of income distribution gap, and moving smoothly toward the direction of common prosperity, the problem of income distribution gap in our country is obviously becoming larger and the Gini coefficient has exceeded the international warning line, which become the social problems that make the people concern about most, the reaction strongest, the conflict most serious, the effect most profound at the same time when the economy has rapid development and the social wealth is increasing.Obviously, this deviates from achieving the goal of common prosperity and at the same time it also influences the sustainable development of China’s economy, the social harmony and stability, and the moderately building of comparatively well-off society in the round. Therefore, a reasonable adjustment of national income distribution is an urgent task.The article regards finishing the adjustment of national income distribution pattern and achieving common prosperity as the object of study. First, the problems of China’s national income distribution pattern faced with china are analyzed. Second, the root causing these problems has been studied. Finally, in view of the problems, the corresponding solutions have been explored. Above all of these study have significant meaning for reducing the income gap at the present stage, forming a reasonable pattern of national income allocation and moving toward common prosperity. It includes four parts:Part I: Outline. It mainly discusses the related theory of distribution of national income and the basic theory of common prosperity.Part II: The necessity to adjust the distribution of national income. In this part, it mainly expounds theoretical foundation of adjusting the structure of national income distribution and the necessity of adjusting the distribution of national income.Part III: The current problems and causes of China’s national income distribution pattern. It mainly studies the problems of pattern of national income distribution faced with china: the “Two proportions" is reducing; income gap between urban and rural areas is very significant; the regional income gap is too large, the industry income gap is widening. Besides, it deeply analyzes the causes of the current problems of the distribution of national income.Part IV: To adjust the structure of national income distribution by regarding achieving common prosperity as the goal. It mainly elaborates the adjustment of the distribution of national income and achievement of common prosperity on the levels of economy, policy and others.
