Research On Income Gap Problem In The Process Of China's Common Prosperity Realization

Common prosperity is a centuries-long goal of human beings, is a cause for which Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping have worked and it is also a great expectation of our Chinese people. More than 30 years'fast economic development after the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy brought fundamental changes to china and people's income increased dramatically. But in the process of common prosperity, the phenomenon of differentiation in people's income gradually emerged and the income gap is still expanding between urban and rural areas, different regions, different economic sections and people in different social levels. How to solve the problem of the expanding income gap and achieve common prosperity have becomes hot topic of common concern. This article is divided into four parts:The first part is introduction which elaborates the reasons of choosing this topic, its research purposes, significance and the research status in China and abroad.The second part is about the significance of addressing the problem of the increasing gap in the process of common prosperity. It expounds the origin of Deng Xiaoping's Thought of common prosperity, its contents, development and enrichment; the criteria of common prosperity, the significance of achieving common prosperity and the necessity and urgentness of solving the problem of expanding income gap.The third part is an analysis of the current income status which mainly elaborates the outstanding situation and characteristics of the current income gap; the nature of the income gap, the dual influence of the income gap; the main reasons of the expanding income gap.The fourth chapter is the measures of solving the problem of the expanding income gap which mainly analyses the experiences and lesson of the West of solving the problem of income gap and put forward the measures of solving that problem with the aim of minimizing the gap and achieve common prosperity.
