In twentieth Century 90 years, with the continuous economic development in Urumqi City, there is increasing demand for real estate, as a special commodity, in the form of increasingly diverse and increasingly complex process, so as to promote the development of the real estate – the sale bridge between the two sides of the real estate brokerage industry. The real estate brokerage industry in the real estate market has played a crucial, indispensable role. However, with the development of the real estate market, the disharmonious factors of real estate brokerage industry in Urumqi have been increasing. Especially since 2014, the second-hand housing transaction volume decreased greatly in Urumqi. When the market condition is not an ideal situation, the real estate brokerage industry is particularly prominent, disturbing the normal order of real estate transactions, trading against the legitimate rights and interests of the parties, and losing the social image of integrity. How to strengthen the supervision of the real estate brokerage industry has become the focus problem. In view of this, this paper mainly studies the supervision of real estate brokerage industry in Urumqi, and try to put forward a set of effective, adaptive regulatory measures to improve the supervision of the real estate brokerage industry efficiently and to promote the healthy and orderly development of the real estate brokerage industry.This paper, except the introduction, consists of five parts. The first part mainly analyzes the basic theory, related to the supervision of the real estate brokerage industry, defines the concept of real estate brokers, classification and important role, and clarify the meaning, function and basic principles of the supervision of the real estate brokerage industry. The second part analyzes the development process of real estate brokerage industry of Urumqi City, and the basic model, the regulatory status and the supervision system of real estate brokerage industry in Urumqi. The third part, combined with the supervision status of real estate brokerage industry in Urumqi, points out the main existing problems by in-depth analysis of the problem: the access and exit mechanisms of the industry is not perfect, the lack of effective means of supervision,the punishment for illegal acts is not enough, the lack of industry self-regulation. The fourth part analyzes the supervision of the real estate brokerage industry of Guangzhou, Hongkong and the United States which are more mature and worthy. Finally, put forward to effective measures of the supervision of real estate brokerage industry in Urumqi: improve the filing system of real estate brokerage industry, strengthen the information construction of real estate brokerage industry, improve the financial supervision system of second-hand house, improve the management system of real estate brokerage credit, improve the personnel management system of real estate brokerage industry, and make full-use of the self regulatory.
