Research And Case Analysis On Subsidiary Agent Purchasing Mode For Home Appliances Manufacturing Enterprise

After joined the WTO in 2001, Chinese economy also gradually integrated into the international economic integration. The completion became more fiercely in the background of the global integration of economy. The enterprise has to think and do different to survive. The key points of competitiveness are to keeping high quality but cutting down the cost. So the supply chain management strategy must be adjusted. With the market competition intensified, the original purchase model cannot well down the cost. Agent purchasing, a new efficient and quick reaction purchasing model, developed gradually and became popular. This model not only cut down the cost and reduced the risk of the enterprise, but also it accelerated the capital turnover rate and improved the level of customer service. Obviously, research on agent purchasing is a significant subject.This thesis has studied and researched on home appliances manufacturing enterprise adopted agent purchasing strategy by its subsidiary to optimizing the supply chain. Firstly, it has reviewed and introduced the relevant literatures about supply chain management and agent purchasing. Then to base on the practical situation of enterprise T, a famous home appliances manufacture, this thesis studied T as a case. After the detailed analysis on the purchase management of T, the thesis has compared the original model with the new agent purchasing model to find out the advantages and disadvantages of two. According to the results, it has made the conclusions that the agent purchasing model is an appropriate way to home appliances manufactures. At last, combined with theory and case analysis of logistics and agent purchasing model, and conclude that the agent purchasing model is an effective model for home appliances manufactures to optimize the supply chain structure and to reduce the cost.
