| More and more human beings have paid special attention to the study of positive psychology since the 1970 s. Happiness, one of the most impressive subjects, is taken as an important comprehensive psychological index to measure human’s living quality. Also it is considered as the empirical science to observe human’s well-being and an indicator to measure the quality of social life.Job performance has been a hot-button issue discussed by both entrepreneurs and researchers. As it is showed by foreign researches, the happier the employees are the more excellent performance they present and the huge success they gain. Managers can through the appropriate human resources system organically to optimize organizational performance, and adopt the matching of organizational commitment policy to improve employee’s work performance and well-being.In this research, human resource system is set as an independent variable; both employee happiness and work performance are outcome variables and organizational commitment the intermediary variable. The relations among them are to be discussed as follows. Google and Lenovo are chosen as the research objects and how their human resource systems keep balance between happiness and performance is studied through literature review and cross-case analyses.Several points are put forward based on the analyses of theories and cases as follows:(1) Commitment-type human resource system has positive correlation with employee well-being.(2) Commitment-type human resource system has positive correlation with job performance.(3) The influence of commitment-type human resource system on employee well-being and job performance is realized through organizational commitment.In this research, new ideas are provided for enterprise management to enhance their work performance. Meanwhile some unique modes from the pioneer enterprises benefit us a lot. Under the modern new-typed human resource system, it is plausible to achieve the rights and interests unification of both employers and employees. |
