In general, urbanization is a process of population’s concentrating in urban, which includes two core issues--the population urbanization and land urbanization. As land is the carrier of urbanization, there is a complicated land system for its planning and management. And the land system evolution follows a certain cost- benefit consideration and the game process. Currently our country is to speed up the process of promoting the construction of the new urbanization, and many problems that related to the land happened in the process. These problems puts forward new requirements for the rural land system reform. Therefore, consideration of land system reform inevitably requires a combination of urbanization perspective.First of all, based on the relationship of the land system and urbanization, this article will take urbanization as one of the constraint conditions in the rural land system evolution. To explain the changes of rural land system by the evolutionary game theory model. Secondly, by means of system analysis and quantitative analysis method, the article combines the evolution of time and space form and combs the history of China’s urbanization and land system change, and expounds the main land problem under the present situation of urbanization. Thirdly, evaluating and combing present plans and practices of rural land system reform. Finally, exploring the land reform under the direction of new-type urbanization background, the article thinks ownership debate is not the primary problem of the land system for now. Farmers’ status should be increased in the process of the farmland market’s game, and land circulation mechanism of urban and rural areas should be established and improved as a whole.
