Internet Insurance is a new concept which is made of “Internet” and “Insurance”, but it’s essence is still the insurance. And the Internet Insurance this paper mentioned includes not only insurance e-commerce but also innovative and design insurance products which are suitable for the internet environment. And now on the Internet, there has been the emergence of new insurance products such as "Zhong Le Bao", "Can Ju Xian", "return freight insurance" etc,the appearance of these products has brought innovative development to Internet insurance. But at the same time, many types of insurance products which are “offbeat” because run counter to the principle of insurance, the CIRC stops their sale, this also shows out that to innovative and design Internet Insurance products which meet the market demand is the key to guarantee the healthy development of Internet Insurance industry.Under the condition of high speed development of current Internet financial, deepen the understanding of Internet insurance, enable it can better adapt to current market needs and find the correct way of innovation and development through the existing products, these are the key research problems of this article. This article starts with the present situation of Internet Insurance, introduces China’s Internet Insurance industy and products development situation, then points out the main business models of Internet insurance products, then do a presentation and analysis of several products which have significance of innovation and dispute by using case analysis, after that, this paper summarizes the design principles of the Internet Insurance products which is not to use the Internet to make blind and meaningless innovation, it should create valuable products in the premise of the law and insurance principle and also design around the nature of insurance, and return to the nature of the transaction among people, which truly to achieve innovation more than marketing gimmick. As for the future trend of the innovation of Internet insurance products, according to the above content, this paper summed up to attaches great importance to the customer experience and fragmentation requirements, at the same time to better achieve the design of future products by making good use of the Internet scene and large data.
