| Information and communication technology are playing an increasingly important role in tourism organization, tourism destination and even the whole tourism industry. With the rapid development of tourism information and growing popularity of customized way of travelling, an amounting number of tourists are taking advantage of Internet to facilitate tourism. Accordingly, tourist attractions also speed up the construction of their own websites to become more competitive. Literature review at home and abroad indicate that tourism website studies has aroused substantial attention in academic and merchant circles. Despite the great progress made in tourism website studies, study of tourist attraction websites, however, is small in number and calls for further exploration.This paper adopts the combination of theoretical research and empirical research. Firstly, based on the related materials at home and abroad, this paper defines tourist attractions, tourist attraction websites, performance evaluation and other related concepts, and reviews researches on tourist websites, website performance evaluation at home and abroad, and on domestic tourism attraction websites. And then it classifies the main aspects of the website performance evaluation mentioned in these materials, and on basis of which chooses indexes related to tourism website performance evaluation, and conducts an in-depth interview with people from website users(tourists), attraction managers and tourism researchers(through email or face to face communication)to obtain important factors of website performance evaluation. Secondly, this thesis constructs a performance evaluation system which can be applied to our country’s tourist attraction websites after analyzing the status and features of the domestic tourist attraction websites. Furthermore, with the help of Delphi method, this thesis modifies the evaluation system so as to establish an objective and feasible evaluation system.In order to evaluate the performance level of tourist attraction websites, this thesis constructs the evaluation model and evaluation grade standard. This thesis adopts the combined method of expert advice and AHP, and quantitative indicators and given standardized method to get key indicator of quantitative evaluation. Lastly, carrying out research on the Guangzhou Chime-Long Tourist Resort website with the evaluation model, and analyzing evaluation results with IPA, the thesis gives suggestions to the construction of the tourist attraction websites and tests the rationality and feasibility of evaluation system. |
