As the formation of China’s socialist market economic system gradually improved, the investments of the planned state behavior economic system evolved into open, pluralistic structure. The investments are responsible for their invest behavior, in order to avoid the failure of project, to ensure the benefits, scientific methods and professional tools have been widely adopted by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of project investment. Investment projects, as the enterprise to invest some money through a series of methods to obtain the expected benefits of a set of economic activities, in a certain period of time to achieve a certain goal while the implementation of content includes preliminary planning, decision, plan the various stages of the design, construction,commissioning and management of a series of activities.Engineering project itself is a complex system,and the project’s management is also an artificial system with multiple objectives,participants and influencing factors. The engineering project construction period is divided into the construction phase(project decision,financing,design,budget), implementation stage(project bidding, contract signing,equipment procurement,construction), the stage of completion of the project(completion of the settlement,post-evaluation).This paper makes full use of analysis on actual cases and starts out from market research, collecting, studying, analyzing and assessing metrics on the basis of real-life investment construction project A of Company S to analyze the specific project in respects of construction early investment management, project implementation management and whole process investment management. The analysis is done via cases analysis and historical data query to obtain associated data and results required for refining project resource allocation and enhancing project success rate.The purpose of this paper is to establish an appropriate set of investment analysis methods through the investment management and control analysis on the construction project of Company S to carry forward rational investment analysis and management in orderly manner on next similar project for company.
