With the rapid development of economic globalization and information technology, the level of modern logistics’ development has become an important symbol that measures a country or a region’s overall economic strength. As a large province in economy, Jiangsu’s logistics industry has been developing rapidly for the past few years, the prospect and the market potential of modern logistics industry is very broad. Accelerating the development of the logistics industry is very important to Jiangsu’s industrial structure adjustment and transformation of economic growth mode and regional competitiveness’ s enhancing.As an important indicator of economic growth, TFP is an important tool to analyze the sources of economic, especially the very important basis for the government to develop a sustainable development strategy. Researching TFP of regional logistics has certain theoretical and practical significance for improving technical level and efficiency of economy, so as to promote economy. This paper estimates the TFP of Jiangsu’s logistics between 1992 and 2012, further TFP subregion of south, north and soviet union in Jiangsu since 2008.The result suggests: 1992-2012 average annual growth of the logistics industry’s TFP is 5.9%, this is mainly due to technological progress, it’s average growth rate is 6.9%,oppsite to technical efficiency’s declining trend, which falls by an average 1%.Since 2008 the logistics industry’s development of the south, north, and the soviet union belong to the dominant type of technological progress.Based on the studies above, this paper research the factors which affect the TFP from human capital stock, industrial structure, industry marketization, regional economic. And explore some aspects which may contribute to improve the TFP through combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. The findings suggests that human capital stock, industrial structure, the marketization greatly influence the TFP, regional economic growth indirectly affect the logistics industry’s TFP by technological progress.
