Research On Hebei Province Agricultual Product Export Trade And The Impact On Economic Growth

With China’s accession to WTO and the further advance of economic globalization, Foreign trade has developed rapidly in Hebei. As a big agricultural province, the agricultural products export trade has dominated an important position in foreign trade of Hebei,it plays an active role in promoting provincial economic development. In recent years, Hebei adhere to the strategy of "going out", and its agricultural products export has entered a new stage of rapid development. However, it is can’t be ignored that there are still many problems: single structure, concentrated market, low quality and other issues, therefore, studying the issues and analyzing the reasons, then taking corresponding countermeasures, have an important practical significance. for the overall economic development and agricultural products export growth in Hebei.On the basis of related literatures which discuss agricultural products export trade, this paper analyzes the current situation of the agricultural products export of Hebei from three aspects: a large scale, more varieties and wider market. In recent years, although agricultural products export develops rapidly in Hebei, there are still some problems: single structure, concentrated market, serious problems of quality and so on. Then this paper analyzes the reasons: low agricultural industrialization level 、 imperfect system of supervision and inspection of agricultural products quality、inadequate government support and inappropriate marketing strategies. By unit root test, cointegration test, and error correction model, this paper studies the effects that agricultural products export leads to economic growth in Hebei, then concludes that agricultural products export can increase farmers’ income and promote economic growth. Finally, this article from various angles puts forward the countermeasures to promote the development of agricultural products export in Hebei, pointing out that the government should strengthen the support, increase capital investment, encourage the establishment of enterprises, thus to promote the development of agricultural industrialization. At the same time, government should improve the agricultural quality standard system and strengthen quality’s supervision, improve service system of agricultural products export, establish trade associations, improve agricultural operating environment. In addition, enterprises should pay more attention to choose the marketing strategy and brand strategy, improve visibility, to promote the development of agricultural products export in Hebei.
