A Research Into The Governance Of Quanzhou Industry Association

Reform and development of the industry associations is very important and significant. With the transformation of government functions, the local industry associations have more space for development, and that requires constant improvement in its own internal management and functional performance. Therefore, the basic idea of writing this paper came into being, and I would like to analyze problems existing in the development of Quanzhou industry associations, trying to explore the development strategies of Quanzhou industry associations.On the basis of combing the researches on the development of the industry associations home and abroad, this paper will take development strategy for Quanzhou industry associations on as object of the research, utilizes literature review, case study and interview methods, and point out the development situations and the problems of Quanzhou industry associations with the new public management theory and governance theory. Meanwhile, this paper will focus on the analysis the causes of problems and figure out some practical solutions for the governance of Quanzhou industry associations.As per the research, we find that Quanzhou industry associations are playing a very important role in social governance and economic life with further development of government institutions reform and market economy running. However, compared with the industry associations in developed countries and area, there are still some problems existing in the development of Quanzhou industry associations, such as imperfect system, insufficient internal management, and deficient performance of functioning. Therefore, Quanzhou industry associations can not effectively play its functions. In view of this, I bring up 3 suggestions for the development of Quanzhou industry associations, based on the cooperation governance theory:(1) improve the external environment of governance for industry associations;(2) complete the internal governance mechanism of industry associations;(3) set up cooperation governance relationship between the government and industry associations. The healthy and sustainable development of Quanzhou Industry associations will greatly promote the transformation and upgrading of the enterprises and also benefit the political, economic and social development in Quanzhou.
