Research On The Development Of Internal Governance Of Shanghai Industry Associations

Industry Association, in modern society, has the dual characteristics of non-profit and non-governmental natures. It has the function of making up both government failure and market failure in China's social transition period. Therefore, it has been increasingly become the focus of attention, and people have expected it to play a greater role. The internal governance of the industry association is the important guarantee for it to completely play its role, and is also an important segment to promote the independent running, democratic management, and code of conduct of the industry association. This dissertation, by surrounding the topics of internal governance structure, mechanism and system of the industry association, and by theoretical analysis and empirical research, has proposed related countermeasures and suggestions on the improvement of internal governance of Shanghai's industry associations.
