The Present Situation And Analysis Of Urban Modern Agriculture Development Model In Xi’an

How to play the role of urban agriculture in big cities is an important subject of modern agricultural development. This study take the current model of urban modern agriculture development, the model character, the model benefit and existing problem in Xi’an city of Shaanxi province as research contents. Through the comparison of examples, this paper analyzes the characteristics of Xi’an urban modern agricultural development model, the existing problems and countermeasures, and provides a valuable reference for the development of urban modern agriculture in Xi’an. The main conclusions are as follow:1. The development of urban modern agriculture in Xi’an is investigated: the total agricultural economy is growing rapidly; the construction of agricultural parks id obvious; the scientific and technological support ability is enhanced; the construction of excellent brand is remarkable; the process of agricultural standardization is speeding up, the degree of agricultural intensification is further improved; and the reform of agriculture is advanced.2. Based on the constraints and problems of modern agricultural development status in Xi’an, some countermeasures were put forward. The main countermeasures are as follow: increase agricultural capital investment, improve agricultural production conditions, adjust agricultural industry structure, rational planning of agricultural development, continue to build “one area, three belts, seven plates”; take the park construction as the leading role, play its leading role, promote the development model; strengthen scientific and technological support, enhance the content of modern agricultural technology; strengthen the source of governance to ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products; integration of the city’s existing agricultural administrative law enforcement resources to formation of the Xi’an municipal agricultural administrative comprehensive law enforcement detachment.3. Selected the representative of urban modern agriculture park to carry on the example analysis, compare the development model, summarized the development of urban modern agriculture in Xi’an in six kinds of characteristics: urban food production model-sowing and harvesting mechanization, urban vegetable production model-facilities, urban fruit production model-standardization, city flower ornamental production model-landscape leisure, urban livestock breeding model-ecological cycle, urban processing circulation system model-market sales.4. Analysis and summarized the benefits of urban modern agricultural development model in Xi’an: in the part of economic benefits, it promotes regional economic development, increases farmer’s income, improve agricultural production conditions; in the part of social benefits, it mainly meets people’s demand for tourism, and provides more employment opportunities; in the part of ecological benefits, it can effective protects and improves natural environment, rational use land resources, increase the area of vegetation, reduce the waste of resources and achieve sustainable development.
