Research Of Modern Agriculture Development For Xiaoshan

It is of great importance and urgency to accelerate development of modern agriculture and enhance new rural construction. This topic has been proposed in the Party’s 18th National Congress report, and considered as one of important theory innovation in the development of modern agriculture and the enhancement of overall agricultural productivity from the viewpoint of new history and long-term perspective. The development of modern agriculture is the primary task of building new socialist countryside, and is the vital demand of rural work based on the scientific concept of development. The process of modern agriculture is the transformation of traditional agriculture, rural productivity to the process of continuous development, and also is the process to transform agricultural growth and promote rapid development of agriculture.The author first describes the development of modern agriculture status at home and abroad as well as foreign models and success stories of modern agriculture development. Taking the relevant literature focused on modern agriculture development into consideration, this paper discusses the connotation of modern agriculture and analyzes the importance of developing modern agriculture from the theoretical perspective, thus can provide a theoretical basis for the empirical analysis.Second, the author makes some fieldwork and obtains the statistical data on development of modern agriculture in Xiaoshan District, and then comparatively analyzes the basic conditions, the highlights and existence advantages of developing modern agriculture in Xiaoshan District, which constructs the ideas of developing modern agriculture in Xiaoshan District.Finally, based on the modern agricultural plan of Xiaoshan District, the author makes a useful exploration on the difficulties and transition issues facing modern agriculture in Xiaoshan District, and proposes the appropriate countermeasures. It provides a guidance for the relevant sector management and policy introduction, and provides a theoretical basis and experience for the new rural construction aiming to enhance the overall competitiveness of agriculture in other counties (cities, districts).
