In recent years, Internet Insurance in our country has experienced the fast-growing period. In the half year of 2015, the Internet insurance premium income has amounted to 86.1 billion, and in 2014 the Internet insurance premium income is 85.89 billion, nearly rising 195% compared with the premium of 3.199 billion in 2011, and has increased by nearly 27 times in just four years. Internet Insurance creates new opportunities for the insurance industry, and has brought the revolutionary development for insurance market. With the continuous release policy dividend, interest rate, increase of the premium income rate reform, change speed mode innovation and technology, the Internet insurance will be the next tuyere, and will open a broader space for development in the future. The emergence of the Internet not only broaden the insurance industry development space, optimize the sales model, improves the service level, but also increase insurance company’s pricing ability and management level.This paper describes the present situation of Internet insurance in our country, analyzes several kinds of typical business model that the insurance company mainly adopts for developing internet insurance business, and compares the advanced the Internet insurance strategy on the market at present. By using SWOT analysis method, this paper analyze the Internet insurance business of HX Company from four aspects, those are external competitive advantage, external competitive disadvantage, the internal development opportunities and internal potential threats. According to the strategic target, strategic structure and competition strategy of HX Company’s Internet insurance business, this paper provides some suggestions of development strategy, implementation of the path, and safeguard measures to help HX Company boost core competitive advantage in the future.
