Applied On ISO/TS16949 Quality Management System In JT Company

Being the further promotion of ISO9001 quality management system(QMS), the ISO/TS16949 QMS is the special requirements which combine the ISO 9001 QMS and the characters of automotive industry. Automotive related industries shall also establish and apply this QMS, which is the international standard, to ensure the quality of the products and meet the customers’ demands.First, the literature review summarizes the development of the QMS, which provides the basis to introduce the history of the ISO/TS16949 QSM, specifying the basic contents,the establishment principles and the implementation tools. This part makes a comparison between the situations of implementation home and abroad. It is of great importance to learn from the advanced experience for reasonably establishing the ISO/TS16949 QSM.Second, from the personal experience of participating in the planning, establishing and applying the ISO/TS16949 QSM in JT cooperation, the thesis introduces the stages of preparation and establishment, the use of turtle diagram for identifying the process and the analysis of the input-output of the each process, the process owner and the performance,the relationships between each process and the corresponding relation between the process and the TS16949 articles.Finally, the thesis, by detailed analysis of the operation process in JT cooperation under the TS16949 QSM, introduces the use of APQP to ensure the quality and reliability of the products and the work to do in each stage in APQP,highlighting the methods of using PFMEA to prevent the quality problems caused by process issues in the stages of designation and development. The thesis give introduction to the use of SPC, MSA and PPAP to ensure the quality of the products and the stability of the process in the product and process validation phase.After the use of ISO/TS16949 QSM, the JT cooperation made a great progress. While there still are some defects and shortcomings, which are exactly the potential aspects that should be improved when using the TS16949 QSM in the future.
