Research On The Problem Of "Labor Shortage" In The Labor Intensive Enterprises In Jiangxi

Since 2001, in;order to promote industrial optimization and upgrading, achieve better and faster economic development, the eastern coastal developed areas has attra cted more traditional labor-intensive enterprises, such as textile, clothing, electronics and footwear, to transfer to central and western regions.The labor intensive enterprise in Jiangxi Province,relying on cheap unlimited supply of labor resources and urbaniz ation progress,has becoming an important force to promote the development of Jiang xi Industrial Park, and playing an important role in China’s manufacturing industry. With the continuous expansion of the labor-intensive quantity and the scale of enterpr ises, and regional economic transformation upgrading, relying on cheap labor intensi ve enterprises recruitment stability is becoming an more and more obvious problem. The performance of the most direct form is the enterprises’ "labor shortage" problem.At present, the industrial park in Jiangxi province has accumulated many labor i ntensive enterprises, whether recruit and retain the appropriate workers, especially fr ont-line staff, directly relates to if these enterprises can survive and develop in Jiangxi , local economic carry catch up and urbanization and the process of building a harmo nious and beautiful Jiangxi. To study and solve the problem of labor shortage in labor intensive enterprises is an important and urgent task for enterprises and governments in Jiangxi.This paper takes labor intensive enterprises in Jiangxi Industrial Park for an exa mple, through field survey, the labor intensive enterprises are lack of workers and skil led workers, especially in the textile and garment industry. On the basis of analyzing t he macro background and micro factors of the labor shortage in labor intensive enterp rises, the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for solving the "lab or shortage".
