A Statistical Research On The Coupling Development Of Strategic Emerging Industries And Traditional Industries In Anhui Province

In October 10, 2010, the State Council promulgated the "State Council on accelerating the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industries", which marked the development of China’s strategic emerging industries is officially began and lead to a series of problems. After the financial crisis, China wants to seize the opportunity of industrial strategy transformation, and to seize the commanding point of economic development, it must carry on a deep discussion on the above issues. In a broad sense, traditional industries need upgrading and optimization, and strategic emerging industries need more space of development. Therefore, the issues that how to coordinate and how to coexist and how to ensure to realized the effect of "two wheel drive" are urgent to solve.Based on above all, this paper mainly studies the fusion development of strategic emerging industries and traditional industries in the following several aspects. Firstly, we clarifies the concept of the related industry, summarizes the progress of research in China and abroad. Secondly, we discusses coupling mechanism and coupling relationship in three aspects in the coupling development motivation, the coupling logic structure and the coupling mechanism. At the same time, gives the development path in details of the coupling between strategic emerging industries and traditional industries. Thirdly, this paper attempts to analyze the situation of coupling development of regional industry in Anhui province, and establishes the ways of industrial division of strategic emerging industries and traditional industries, and constructs the models to calculate the efficiency of the industry synergy. Finally, we comes to the conclusions that the industrial division of two industries in Anhui province and their coupling efficiency. In detail, this paper firstly establishes a complete index system whose data comes from a large number of enterprises and gives the model called Weaver-Thomas to produce the division of strategic emerging industries and traditional industries, then gives the criteria of the coupling evaluation, and establishes two models which are called coupled model and continuous development model to analyze the situation of the coupling in Anhui province and to judge the trend of coupling development. Ultimately, we conclude that, from the static point of view, the dual industry of Anhui province is in the middle stage, and from the perspective of dynamic and non-balanced, it is still in the development of moderate imbalance, however, there are some evidences which can be thought that the coupling is gradually moving towards a more coordinated state. In addition, the paper gives four related policy recommendations for the development of industry coupling and the possible development direction of the future research.
