by the further new-type urbanization in China, the number of farmers will continue to grow. The re-employment has the direct bearing on improving the quality of famers’lives, after they break away from agricultural production. And now, due to the imperfection in the government policy and the re-employment, the farmers have to stay in a weak position. The landless farmers will face many difficulties although the live in the same material conditions with urban residents. Therefore, I think the basic measure to help farmers is solving their re-employment problems.Based on the re-employment problem of the landless farmers of Xindu District as the core, the paper expounds the writing background and significance as first, and also including the research status, research contents and research methods at home and abroad. Currently, the re-employment problem of farmers in XinDu District is increasingly outstanding, we can use for reference experiences from other districts for solving this problemIn the next chapter, the paper expounds the definitions of new-type urbanization, landless farmers, and re-employment. And then, the paper expounds four theories including the new-type urbanization theory, Lewis rural-urban flow model, human capital theory and the hierarchy of needs theory. This part of paper provides the theoretical foundation for the research contents and conclusions below.And then, by the questionnaire survey and interviews with each district community leadership in grass-roots, I got those data about the present situation in expropriation compensation, family and re-employment of landless farmers in XinDu District. After analyzing of the statistical data, we can found many problems such as the lack of security system, the imperfection in the re-employment and the difficult of job hunting channel of landless farmers.In the next section, we did some analysis of the influence factor about the re-employment. Including the degrees of education, the traditional ideas, the relationship between economic development and urbanization, the rural financial system, the relevant system construction and the information channels.Base on the analysis before, the paper gives some advice about the human capital, economic development, financial service system, system construction and training system. And also, the paper advocates a government-leading mode so as to promote the manpower capital of landless farmers, helps the Urban Enterprises and the tertiary industry attract more labor power, perfects the financial service system to provide business loans, enhances the security system construction and the training system of landless farmers.All above, the paper expounds some points about promoting the competitive force of landless farmers re-employment.
