Along with the unceasing advancement of the police of reform and opening-up, the urbanization has already become an inevitable tendency. In the process of urbanization, the urban has also extending its domain to countryside constantly. Under this circumstance mentioned above, there has been massively farmers who are required to hand in their own land. These people have been facing a huge pressure of survial for having lost their land which they are rely on for quite a long term to make a living. In all the problems when we mention the urbanization, Employment is the most serious one which has attracted many experts’attention and research. So the problem of how to relief these unemployed farmers should be paid more and more attention. How to insure these farmers who has lost their land not to be unemployed? How to make sure they will have a stable job and a sustainable livehood after handing in their land? So we have to recognize that it’s really worth to carry on a research and have a discussion on this topic which is of great value of reality and theory research.Through the field survey of farmers dwelling at Baixia district of Nanjing city who lost their lands in the course of the urbanization. I come to understand and analyze the potential problems in employment and attempt to provide some countermeasures and suggestions on it.The content of the paper is as follows.First part is lead in to introduce the topic’s background and operation significance through documents summary to learn current research outcome. Concluding this article’s purpose and importance, also explain the plan. The second part is the theoretical basis, drawing many domestic and foreign experts and scholars’views, respectively, from the employment information, land value, human capital, social capital and community employment theory, as the research basis and starting point; The third part is empirical analysis of personal status which are about the "landless peasants". The main analysis of the landless farmers includes the personal basic information, education, physical health, management skills and personal income levels. The fourth part is empirical analysis of the employment situation which are about the "landless peasants".
