Production logistics, throughout the entire production process, is the most important link in the enterprise logistics, and it has a direct impact on the whole manufacturing system efficiency and cost, if the production efficiency is improved, the whole production system cost will be the reduced, efficiency will be improved, and the enterprise benefit will be increased. The automobile mixed model assembly line production logistics is selected as the research object in this paper, and its main factors are divided into two aspects: production process on the level of logistics planning and material distribution route on the level of logistics operations. To improve the automobile mixed assembly line production logistics, and reduce the cost, improve the production efficiency, the restraint theory is used to optimize the production process and the improved genetic algorithm is used to optimize the material distribution route.Firstly, problems lacked or not involved in the study of optimization production logistics optimization are proposed on the basis of full access to the domestic and international research literature on the optimization of automobile mixed flow assembly line and production logistics in this paper, and it draws an conclusion that production process on the level of logistics planning and material distribution route on the level of logistics operations are the main factors that affect the optimization of automobile mixed flow assembly line production logistics through analysis and induction. And then, a new DBR production control mechanism based on constraint theory is proposed for the optimization of production process. It is a push-pull mode according to the control point bottleneck process which is used to control production process by pushing or pulling the former and latter processes, and the shipping buffer is defined as a feedback mechanism to control the material coordination, production planning and work-in-process inventory. And a detailed solution procedure has been formulated. Then a multi-objective comprehensive evaluation model based on the shortest material distribution distance and the lowest penalty cost is established by using dimensionless method for the material distribution path optimization of automobile mixed assembly line, which makes the model more realistic and valuable. Then an improved genetic algorithm is presented to solve the model. In this algorithm, new roulette selection operator and crossover operator are proposed to improve the probability of a good individual is selected and inherited. The mixed assembly line of J automobile enterprise is selected as the research object, the validity of the proposed theory is verified by using in practice, and the superiority is also verified by comparing the data before and after optimization with the standard genetic algorithm. Finally, the main work of this paper is summarized and the prospect of the optimization of production logistics is put forward.
