At present, our country’s modernization construction in full swing, the pattern of land development space, great changes have taken place in both strong support the rapid economic development and social progress, there have been some issues which need to pay great attention to, such as cultivated land reduced, the destruction of the ecological system, the excessive development of resources, environmental issues increasingly prominent, and so on, so we must cherish every inch of land, control the development intensity, adjust the structure of space, make the balance between the population, resources and environment, to achieve sustainable development.In this study fully grasp Binhe district of Yinchuan background conditions of land used and resources, for the scientific planning and efficient use of land resources, guide the construction of new type of ecological city, surrounding the core area, remote sensing and other high-tech means, combined with field investigation and data collection, access to natural environment and the economic and social status, especially in land use, ecological environment data, the basis of research on land development pattern. The following conclusions:(1) The riverside new city core area is given priority to with agricultural land, land use right to use construction land area. natural grass, grass, sand and other other forest land, paddy field is the main form of land use, the concentration distribution in the east of the Yellow River area, the spatial distribution continuity is better, land use potentiality.(2) The riverside district core status of the forest coverage rate of 8.66%.Through conversion of cultivated land, garden land, grassland, water area green equivalent, and forest land and calculation, get the status quo of green equivalent forest coverage is 31.17%, show that good ecological environment in the core area, with the foundation of the construction of eco-city.(3) The concept and method on the basis of the available land resources, analyzes the core of the construction of the number of land and land distribution constraints, divided into restricted development zone, development zone, puts forward the corresponding control requirements.(4) The riverside district core pattern of land development space overall architecture as background, the "four major groupings- three plate foundation- plate internal development".(5) Based on the above land development pattern design, put forward to safeguard the ecological security pattern, strengthen the protection of the ecological sensitive area, improve the efficiency of suitable land for development, scientific planning of land utilization management advice.
