The land, belonging to the non-renewable resources, is the basic resources and the necessary conditions to the survival of humans, and is also the basic elements to carry out agricultural activities. In recent years, due to the reasons of poor farming conditions, low efficiency of agricultural production, increased household income and distempered rural social security system and so on, there are many different levels of abandoned farmland across the country. If we are not in time to take effective measures to curb the phenomenon of abandoned land, we will not only waste the land resources, but endanger the national food security. Therefore, the governments at all levels should be as soon as possible to come up with some countermeasures to solve the problem of abandoned farmland.This study selected Tuo Pai town, Fu Xi town, Tai Yi town, Ming Xing town, which are in She Hong county, Sui Ning city of Si Chuan province as the study areas, and by preventing the farmland from being abandoned as a starting point, using quantitative analysis and extract the eigenvalue method from the abandoned farmland in Tuo Pai town to establish a risk evaluation index system.Based on the field investigation in Tuo Pai town and the quantitative study of abandoned farmland, and through building the abandoned risk evaluation system in Fu Xi town, Tai Yi town, Ming Xing town. according to various factors, which affect the farmland abandoned composed of arable land, the influence of size, put forward the targeted countermeasures and Suggestions of prevention of abandoned farmland.According to the risk evaluation system of abandoned farmland abandoned risk evaluation results of cultivated land in the study area, the results are as follows:(1) Most of abandoned farmland without risk, in the study area have abandoned risk has a wide distribution of cultivated land and plaques area is lesser, distribution in too Tai Yi town, Fu Xi town. Without the risk of abandoned land area of 6455.57 hectares, accounting for 71.63% of the arable land in the study area. Have a low risk of abandoned land area of 1812.26 hectares, accounting for 20.11%; Have a moderate risk of abandoned land area of 631.19 hectares, accounting for 7.00%; And have a high risk of cultivated land area of 113.24 hectares, accounting for 1.26%.(2) By the risk assessment results of abandoned in the study area, the influence is too b town, star town of abandoned land of one of the biggest constraints is the plaque area of cultivated land, cultivated land patches, the smaller it is abandoned the greater the risk of; Affect Tai Yi town of abandoned farmland water conservancy facilities, is the biggest constraint is the lack of arable land, irrigation facilities, irrigation protected will lead to the cultivated land were abandoned; Slope is Tai Yi, too b town, Fu Xi town star’s third most important factor in town of abandoned farmland.Finally, put forward the following Suggestions:(1) perfect the rural social security system, clear land circulation channels, promote agricultural scale management, improve the efficiency of land management; 2. Increase agricultural investment, improve agricultural production infrastructure construction, improve the conditions of arable land, farming, increase the benefit of the cultivated land output;3. Improve the agricultural subsidy policy, fully arouse the enthusiasm of farmers, and avoid the cultivated land was abandoned.
