Green Culture And Environmental Performance: The Mediation Role Of Green Information System

As people pay more attention to the green/environmental protection and researchers do further research on enterprise culture, green information system and the organization’s environmental performance, more and more enterprises realize the importance of culture and innovative technology for enterprise development. At present, most researchers mainly discuss the effects of corporate culture on organizational performance and the influence of green information system on environmental performance, however, there is little research putting them together. This paper mainly explores how green culture and green information system influence the environmental performance and the relationships among them after defining Green culture.Resorting to previous authority culture model, we modify the model before pretest, at the same time, combined with the implementation of the green information system and the environmental performance, we design the questionnaire, and build the theory model of research.The data is collected by both paper version and electronic version of the questionnaire. After analysis of statistical description to 250 sample data and reliability & validity test of both formative and reflective variables, the theoretical model has been analysed by smart PLS. Then, the research conclusions are drawn as following: Involvement, Consistency, Adaptation and Mission are significant in predicting Green Culture; Green Culture has positive impacts on environment performance by both directly and indirectly though sustainable development.Finally, the contributions of this paper and some pieces of advice to organization put forward: If enterprises want to keep in an impregnable position in the increasingly fierce competition, they should follow the pace of the times, pay more attention to the national environmental protection policy, and make the notion of green culture deeply root in the hearts of people. In addition, in order to encourage more enterprises to participate in the implementation of the green information system, we should encourage enterprise from the dimension of the sustainable development of its green information system.so we can have the effect of environmental protection. Meanwhile, we have given some advises for further research based on the experience in this study.
