The Study Of The Economic Influence Caused By The Internationalization Of The Textile And Garment Industry In China

The traditional manufacturing industry special for Garment & Textile range had been experienced a surge increase during last 40 years. Along with the situation that the advantage of the population in China is going to disappear and caused by the deterioration of the population aging problem, the advantage of a cheap labor force in the low-added-value industry will no longer existed, how to re-allocated the resources in a global market and help the industry to obtain more added-value aspects during the process of the internationalization of industry chain are now become the main target of our local enterprises. Beyond all the questions, the internationalization can promote the skills of the local labor force, with the support of the " Spill Effect", we can promote the level of the production and management skills then help to develop the industry economy, but the complicated production procedure of the Apparel & Textile industry decided that each production chain should take a different influence to the industry economy during the process of the internationalization. Regards to the importance of the Apparel & Textile industry, how to identify the influence routs and the degrees of each influence during the procedure of internationalization is the purpose of this thesis.In this paper, we rely on the theoretical basis of the International Economics and Western Economics, start from the International Specialization, this paper try to study out the transmission routs and methods of the capital resource, the labor force resource and the management and technology resources, if take the characteristics of the Apparel & Textile industry into consideration, we take a further step to study out the economic influence of each industry chain during the internationalization.The construction of this thesis just as below indicated:the first part purpose to clarify the logic and idea of this paper, then remark the weakness and shortage of this paper. On the 2nd part, it systematically summarized the original theories of the industry chain and also the paradigm and progress of the research. We also summarized the related literatures and divided them into 2 parts, one parts major on the pure theories which the 2nd part major on the practices. On the 3rd part of this paper, it expounded the current situation of the industry chain for Apparel & Textile, keen on to detail the chain construction, the promotion routs of both the industry chain and the internationalization, the purpose of this part is to build the theory basis for the following analyses. In the 4th and 5th chapters, through the qualitative and quantitative analyses, it try to study out the difference between each influences start from the capital resource, the labor resource and the enterprise resource during the internationalization of the industry chain. Finally, based on the outcomes of this research, we put forward some policy suggestions for both government and enterprises in the purpose to avoid the potential risks during the internationalization of the industry chain of Apparel & Textile and looking forward a healthy and long term development.
