Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The New Rural Construction In Weifang City

The target and mission of the socialist new countryside construction was originated during the 5th session of the Party’s 16 th Congress. This is an important strategic measure of the overall situation, with long-term prospective, advancing with the times, therefore is the key task of socialist modernization construction. At present our countryside issues are still serious, so the CPC Central Committee decides to build "new socialist countryside" to solve the rural problems. New countryside is the advanced stage in the development of human society, is a kind of economic phenomenon in the process of human society progress, along with the rapid economic development in the region and the world thus accelerate the development of new countryside. As an advanced form of human community,urbanization has progressed rapidly in developed countries, being a major player in social and economic activities.The next few years will be a crucial period of China’s new countryside strategy. How to push this strategy forward concerns the entire society. The gap between urban and rural areas as well as the unbalance between industrial and agricultural development will exist for a long period. Using industry to promote agriculture and using city to lead the countryside are still suitable for China’s current situation.Therefore, we need to further practice the plans for socialist new countryside construction, achieve the goals in time, coordinate urban and rural development, better civilize, beautify and democratize the countryside, so that we can achieve our overall target of building a well-off society and the great rejuvenation of China.Through the introduction of the successful experience of the domestic and foreign new rural construction, combined with the current situation of China s rural areas, starting from the perspective of diversification, in Weifang City as an example, around the region development is not balanced, imperfect social security system, rural children education, farmers’ professional skills, social management, rural dirty and messy, rural tourism is not standardized and problems. In order to improve the living standards of farmers, we can provide some reference for the new rural reconstruction, and try to solve the problems of rural areas in China, and to find the most direct and effective way to improve the living standards of farmers.
