The Research On Old People’s Medical Care Conduct, Difficulties And Countermeasures In The National Countryside

Our country has entered the aging society, the number of elderly people increases, the ratio of the elderly population rising gradually, this brings great challenge to the protection of old people in China. Especially the elderly is one of the biggest "vulnerable health" groups, the old people’s health problem is more serious in the national countryside, they need more medical services, and they urgently need the government and society to provide comprehensive, continuous, appropriate medical care.This article uses the multidisciplinary cross studies such as ethnology and sociology, from a functional perspective, it studies an important part in the process of building social——the old people’s medical care conduct in the national countryside, it combines the micro and macro, and find out the problem in the society. This article uses literature method, questionnaire survey and interview method to study the old people’s medical care conduct and difficulties in Dalad Banner E town in Inner Mongolia. Including their health status, treatment, care and treatment support, it reveals the old people’s medical care conduct and difficulties, analysis the basic factors of medical treatment, and put forward more specific or strong operability countermeasures.Based on the study of old people’s medical care conduct in E town, the author found that the health and medical care conduct of the rural elderly in west national regions face severe challenges. It has the following characteristics:Most old people get sick, a variety of diseases in the elderly at the same time, and self-reported health are generally lower. Prevalence of chronic diseases, the first of the list is waist or legs pain, it reflects a characteristic is that the health of the rural elderly people becomes poor because of long time work. In the process of medical treatment, old people tend to choose close or convenient treatment of medical institutions, they will use a traditional treatment method and the witchcraft as a means of adjuvant therapy, basically their diseases are cured. In the support of treatment, the new rural cooperative medical care system plays a big role, and gives great help to the old people in the national countryside, old people also speak highly of it. In the process of medical treatment and nursing, there are some main problems, such as difficulty in medical treatment, lack of funds, family daily without care, lack of spiritual comfort. The main factors that influence the old people’s medical care conduct in the national countryside include policy factors, economic factors, cultural factors and personal factors and so on. Therefore in perfect new rural cooperative medical system, the government should give full consideration to the interests of the elderly, at the same time they should strengthen the construction of basic medical institutions, the fair distribution of health resources, but also the social from all walks of life and family members should give more care and love to the elderly.
