During the period of Auto car seat system R&D process, many aspects mustbe taken into consideration to be uniform with the OEM. All of those must befollowed with the order issued from OEM. So the reflect of the above change willbe the element which determines the success of the whole project. So, to buildand optimize the project change management system is of vital importance to thewhole industry.This dissertation focuses on the issues which are related to project change inAuto car seat industry. The results are,1. The influence from project change on the project goal and organizationstructure has been analyzed. I found that the finishing time, running cost, thequality of final delivery product/service and internal/external organization frameare of vital importance to the success of the project. This conclusion is based onthe study of178changes from9projects.2.4kinds of project changes in this industry have been analyzed, that isproject range change, progress change, human resource change and budgetchange.3. The elements which can affect the change have been analyzed from thefollowing aspects, such as project structure, ability of the project manager, projectlife schedule and the external environment of the project.4. The project change management and application paths have been provided.I found that different changes can use the same path. The application path mustbe selected according to the specific situation of the change to manage andcontrol the change well and effectively.5. The validity of the project change procedure and application path havebeen proofed by the example which comes from the actual work experience.
