| The equipment manufacturing industry (EMI) has become a decisive competitive industry in Xi’an, and the development will impact hugely the economic development of the whole city. Recent years, supplier plays a growing part in the supply chain of EMI in Xi’an.It has important significance that how to chose supplier to reduce effectively the cost of supply chain. However, there are some problems on the research about the choice of supplier now:The supplier evaluation indicator in the existing research is universally valid, and isn’t considering the different types of industry; and how many suppliers should be closed on earth is qualitative research, and lack of quantitative research. Aim at the shortage above, according to the trait of the choice about supplier of EMI in Xi’an, the paper firstly constitutes a comprehensive evaluation indexes system on the EMI supplier in Xi’an, and build an evaluation model. And based on the evaluation model, aimed at the minimum total cost of purchase, a model used for deciding the number of supplier is established and solved. Finally the paper gets the options of supplier to enterprise. On the one hand, the research fills weak spots of the universal supplier evaluation; on the other hand, it provides a method of the choice of supplier after evaluation.The main research context and creative achievements are as follows:The paper extracts a comprehensive evaluation indexes on the EMI supplier in Xi’an, builds system and evaluation model. Firstly, the paper summarizes the related research results of scholars at home and abroad. With feature of the research and principles of supplier evaluation indexes system, the paper constitutes a comprehensive evaluation indexes system on supplier preliminary by visiting some departments such as purchaseã€account and technology of equipment manufacturing enterprise. Secondly, based on the feedback of preliminary questionnaire, the paper filters the indexes, and constitutes a comprehensive evaluation indexes system which contains 4 first-level index and 18 second-level index finally. At last, the paper constitutes an evaluation model of supplier with RBF neural network, and makes an analysis with enterprise A to get the supplier sorted result.With the method of linear programming, considering cost factor, aimed at the minimum total cost of purchase, and based on the sorted results which are made by supplier evaluation model, the paper builds a model which is used for deciding the number of supplier in case of single product and multi-product and solves it. At last, the paper makes an analysis on one equipment manufacturing enterprise in Xi’an to get the options of supplier, and provides a basis for the choice of EMI supplier in Xi’an. |
