After the reform and opening up, China’s housing system has been changed, with the development of the housing system in our country, our country town residents’ housing conditions and the housing environment are improved greatly,Meanwhile, with the continuous development of China’s urbanization, the income gap between rich and poor continues to widen the housing problems of low-income groups is still ahead of us. Although our country is constantly perfecting housing security system, and also made some achievements, but many problems of affordable housing policy is also persist. To explore a new way of housing security, out of the plight of the current affordable housing construction, to realize the goal of "housing" has important practical significance.In this paper, by analyzing the domestic and foreign housing security policies related literature, on the basis of relevant theories, comparative analysis the advantages and disadvantages of in-kind subsidies and rent subsidies. And learn from the successful experience of foreign rental subsidies, put forward our country should adopt and promote the rent subsidies timely. And for the issue of housing security object, the rent subsidies for rent, embodiments of the rent subsidy are discussed in this paper.
