Urban Housing Security System Analysis And Research

Urban housing is a worldwide problem both developed countries or developing countries have been encountered or are experiencing along with the economic development. So it is in today's China in the period of rapid economic development as well as urbanization. A large number of agricultural population and capital move into the cities, and on the other hand, the housing price keep rising because of marketability. Some of the low-income groups can not afford for the houses completely on their own. Therefore the supply-demand contradiction becomes even more severe. Now the government has to release housing security polices to help them realize their dreams. This will not only maintain the benefits of low income groups, but also be helpful in narrowing the gap between rich and poor, and building a stable, harmonious socialist society.This article first of all gives an analysis on the theoretical base of the housing security policy, and then accompanied with example analysis on different housing security policies both in China and abroad, there comes conclusions and revelations based on the former experiences. Also in this article, the author raises several suggestions on how to improve urban housing security policies in Wuxi city. Although Wuxi has basically established a multi-level urban housing security supply system with commercial housing as the main, affordable and functional housing, low-rent housing and public-rent housing to complement, and has already formed a housing security mechanism called "different treatment, classified supply", the municipal government still need to improve in the areas of expanding housing security fund resources, scientifically planning the regions and inter-outer environment of affordable housing, innovating support means, and establish scientific appraisal mechanism, so as to realize utmost security and endeavor for the objects to be leading in building up overall middle-welfare society and realization of modernization.
