From traditional handwritten bill to use walkie-talkie or tablet for ordering,online group buying and promotional activities.etc, the information technology development grows more faster. With the deepening of the concept of informationization and internet,with more higher level requirements of the informationization and networking of catering management information system,O2O becomes a new highlight of catering industry development. However,020 mode and traditional restaurants offline service mode currently need to be supported by an information system but with poor integration and interoperability.Therefore,a new catering system which both can satisfy the demand of online group-buying purchase flow,and also can meet offline restaurant consumption flow at the same time is of great significance to support the development of catering enterprises with O2O mode.In this thesis, it researches and develops an Internet-based catering system, and target at service restaurant users.The goal is to help traditional service industry clients to use of the management platform better,achieve O2O/B2C services through the transformation of the data terminal via the internet. The system implements the dining options online,includes catering site selections,inquiries and customer self-ordering,also supports distributing and printing order list automatically,provides functions of check out and background management on the PC platform.In addition, the restaurant can be independent to send information to customers through the Client which make the advertising delivery more accurate. This thesis designs and realizes the O2O catering system is of great significance of transforming the catering industry by using "Internet Thinking",meeting the challenges of internet wave for the traditional service industry and gradually adapt to the era of informationization for the catering management industry requirements.
