Defined the adjustment tone and direction in the chlor-alkali industry, through acquisition, merger, reorganization, joint venture and other forms, improve industrial concentration, the development of economies of scale, eliminate backward production capacity, speed up industrial restructuring. Further improve the traditional coal chemical industry energy consumption, environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of resources and other aspects of barriers to entry. National authorities launched a" petro chemical industry restructuring and revitalization plan" (Guo Fa [2009] No.16) "oil and chemical industrial restructuring guidance," "supporting the revitalization of the oil and chemical industry technical guidance," " Cleaner production standard chlor-alkali industry (caustic soda) "(HJ 475-2009).TYC is one of the Chinese largest manufacturer in the chlor-alkali chemical industry, its main product PVC production is leading in the country, and has a brand, quality, advanced technology and other advantages.2014 annual sales is nearly73.8 billion Yuan, profits is 2.38 million Yuan. However, the company did not pay attention to cultivate long-term core competitiveness of enterprises, along with the development of strategic positioning on the partial differences. Along with the rapid development of domestic enterprises and market competition continues to intensify, the original competitive advantage of the company gradually has been lost, in recent years, and enterprises began to decline, facing the impact of enterprise products at home and abroad, the high cost of the product, declining market share, the brand’s social influence continues to weaken, the management system and marketing system and other defects exposed, by reason of competitive advantage tremendous impact.In this paper, based on the analysis of the gradual loss of the core competitiveness of TYC, concluding the analysis of the competitive landscape change issues, market competition problem, the problem of rising costs, security pressure problems. Caused by the core competitiveness of the problem summarized as product development, resource distribution, marketing mode, etc. did not seize the opportunity. Problem-solving strategies, through overall planning resources, focusing on building three bases; "going out" strategy, the formation of new industrial chain; optimize resource utilization, accelerate the pace of structural adjustment; promote the three major strategies, the transformation of economic growth mode; management innovation, providing high quality of economic operation Finally, TYC company should take the scientific development concept as a guide to scientific and technological innovation as the driving force, " to enhance the operational level, gain survival time; optimize resource utilization, committed to structural adjustment " as the guiding ideology, sticking to its main industry, accelerating the invigorating of the stock assets, the pace of structural adjustment and the transformation of the mode of economic growth, so as to solidify its foundation, and realize its adjustment of industry arrangement, reform and economic restructuring.
