Research On International Competitiveness Of Chinese Aerospace Manufacturing Industry

Aerospace manufacturing industry is a high-tech industry based on modern science and technology. It is also one of the strategic high-tech industries of China. Meanwhile, aerospace manufacturing industry is a high precision manufacturing industry, which is related to national economy construction and national defense construction. It reflects the strength of national scientific and technological innovation. Therefore, the study of international competitiveness of Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry is a necessary research to proceed. Through 50 years’ efforts, Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry has established the competences of the design, manufacturing, integration, and testing for the launch vehicle, spacecraft, manmade satellite, lunar exploration, and the space station. Since the successful launch of Chinese first satellite of “DFH-1” in 1970, China has launched over 100 satellites successfully up to now. With the implementation of Chinese “Chang’e” project, being surrounding the moon, and landing on the moon, the docking of space station, and the global poisoning and navigation system, Chinese aerospace has renewed the vitality. This shows that China has hold an important position in the fields of space technology, space application, and space research.Based on the research on the theory of international competitiveness and the evaluation system, considering the characteristics of Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry and current status quo, the evaluation system for the international competitiveness of Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry is established from the aspects of competition capability, competition potential, and competition environment. The evaluation factors, such as TC and RCA, etc. are analyzed in this paper. Based on this, factor analyses for manufacturing of aerospace of major countries are conducted. The current problems for the international competitiveness of Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry are pointed out in this paper, and in the end, the suggestions to enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry are proposed.
