Product Development Process Optimization Based On Lean Thinking Study In B Corporate

With the current product life cycles are getting shorter, customer demand increasing fast and social demand increasingly unstable, how to optimize the product process is urgent case which the enterprises have to face and solve during product development. According to B Company’s product development status, we introduce lean thinking as a new product development idea and method. Lean development mainly focus on two things:one thing is to use lean method to optimize the whole process of development, to find the cause of the waste and eliminate; another thing is how to design the product or service with lean thinking. In this kind of product development and management, product development value stream is the focus, how to create a new product development process which has little or even no waste is the main task:high value, no waste, continuous lean is the goal, make full use of the lean tools and techniques, to make "flow" to the process of product development, adapt to and fully meet customer rapidly changing, diverse and personalized demand, realize the maximization of enterprise value and reach win-win situation.At first, with benchmarking and ASME to analysis the current product development process, to find out the main problems of product development process in B Company. Then to modify the core steps of product development process in B company by ESEIA, and CE theory. At the end, to ensure the whole new process can be implemented successful in B Company, there is some supporting measures are recommended.
