With the gradual transformation towards differential competition and high-quality growth in Chinese enterprises in recent years, more and more enterprises have realized the importance of knowledge workers and regard them as the core competitiveness of the enterprise. This paper focuses on the young knowledge employees in a state enterprise S company, who were mainly born from 1980 to 1992 with college, bachelor degree or above. On the basis of knowledge employees incentive model by Mahan Tamp, this paper, according to the characteristics of Chinese knowledge employees, refines and modifies to establish a knowledge employees incentive factors index system with 3 dimensions and 29 items, researches problems existing in enterprises’ incentive systems by questionnaires and deep interviews to find the root of these questions, and then provides improvement suggestions on aspects such as salary and benefit, post promotion, post transformation, decision participation in decision-making, etc., to help the enterprise stimulate the creation and motivation of young knowledge employees to the utmost extent to finally acquire competition advantages in the fury market competition.
