Agriculture as the foundation of country names economy. Cultivated Land phenomenon has affected the country intensified food production, China as a large population, stable, adequate supply of food is the foundation of social stability and development. Arable land of relatively large-scale abandonment occurs three times:in the late 1980s, before 1992, and the third began in 1997, to today is not over yet, this phenomenon seriously affects the sustainable development of agriculture and rural economy, even a threat to the effective supply of food. In this regard, the leaders attached great importance to the Party Central Committee has repeatedly stressed the need to use the most stringent measures to protect our country’s arable land, cultivated land and strictly 1800000000 red line. In recent years, the State Council has increased investment in agriculture, issued a number of preferential agricultural policy, but in agriculture relatively low income, poor infrastructure, massive transfer of rural labor and other factors, the phenomenon is spreading abandoned farmland trend,In this paper, the economic man hypothesis, the theory of sustainable development, the opportunity cost is the theoretical basis, using literature research, survey research and comprehensive analysis of the combination of three methods for data collection and analysis of data. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction including the background, significance and literature review; second part of the paper the theoretical basis and some basic concepts; third part describes the situation Longquan District abandoned farmland, including the general situation as well as the characteristics of abandoned farmland in the region; fourth part is the focus of this article, the factors affecting the quantitative analysis of abandoned farmland; fifth part is the conclusion. Through field visits, questionnaires and other methods, the author’s hometown of Longquan District as a research survey area, there are from eight towns in the phenomenon of abandoned farmland in rural residents randomly selected 150 questionnaires. By understanding the basic situation of rural households in the home, income, management and transfer of arable land and farmland protection awareness, etc., which in turn use the main factors factor analysis of Longquan District farmland abandoned for analysis. The study found abandoned farmland affected Longquan District primary factors include seven categories: agriculture proportion, affecting cognitive, economic distance, quality of cultivated land, labor composition, policy awareness and abandoned attitude factor. According to the survey Longquan District advantageous natural conditions, the entire economy in Chengdu suburb second, but abandoned land still exists, and into growth, agriculture itself benefits, farmers abandoned farmland cognitive attitude, as well as the quality of arable land itself varies missing other important reasons for this phenomenon are generated. To ensure the amount of cultivated land Longquan District, Longquan District to promote the sustainable development of agricultural production, based on the analysis of the survey believe that the government should increase investment in agriculture, including investment in infrastructure, investment in technology and capital investment, and give full play good functions of government departments in the agricultural production process, in order to improve agricultural production capacity, lower production costs Longquan rural areas, promotion of rural residents to increase production; accelerate rural farmland contracting right, while strengthening the management of the land contract after; formulate appropriate laws, regulations, improve farmers’ awareness of the protection of arable land; improve the social security system in rural areas, so that rural residents truly a sense of security, medical services.
